SoraFiles is a privacy-first web app by Sora Labs for working with PDFs and images directly in your browser. Supported file processing happens locally on your device, so your files do not need to be uploaded to a SoraFiles processing server. SoraFiles brings PDF and image workflows together in one place, including tools for compressing, merging, splitting, rotating and converting PDFs, working with images, removing backgrounds and metadata, scanning documents, OCR, signing PDFs, adding watermarks and page numbers, protecting or unlocking PDFs, and more. No account is required, outputs are not watermarked, and your original files remain unchanged. Core tools can continue working after the first load, and the web app is designed to work across devices. SoraFiles is built with open-source technology and focuses on keeping supported file processing private, local and transparent. Because processing happens on your device, performance can depend on your browser, device and file size, and some conversions may involve format or fidelity trade-offs.
